Dr. Howard N. Bockbrader received his B.S. in Pharmacy and his Ph.D. in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from The Ohio State University. He has held appointments as Assistant Professor of Pharmacy and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pharmacy at Wayne State University College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions. His main responsibility was teacher Clinical Pharmacokinetics to the undergraduate and graduate students. Howard joined Parke-Davis (now Pfizer) as a Research Scientist in the Pharmacokinetic and Drug Metabolism section and moved up the ranks to Section Director in the Department of Pharmacokinetics Dynamics and Metabolism. As a section director he was responsible for preclinical and clinical research in the CNS area (primarily the alpha-2-delta compounds). Most recently as Senior Director in Clinical Pharmacology, Primary Care Business Unit of Pfizer, he was responsible for the study design, pharmacokinetic and PK/PD analyses, report writing and regulatory submissions. He has authored more than 40 publications. Since retiring from Pfizer in 2011, he has been the owner/manager of BEP Analyses, LLC a contract service provider for the Ann Arbor Pharmacometrics Group.
